The following are questions that have previously been asked by prospective
customers. If you have
any questions that aren't
answered on these pages, please
email us
and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Q.
Is Spread Betting really tax-free?
A.
For most people, yes. Spread Betting profits are free from Capital Gains Tax whatever your personal circumstances.
Unfortunately the Inland Revenue has left the rule regarding Income Tax rather more
ambiguous.
Our understanding is
that profits are also free of Income Tax if you are able to demonstrate you have
another source of income on which you can support yourself
financially -
such as a salary, pension or profits from a business.
Q.
Is 'Spread Trading' any different from 'Spread Betting'?
A.
No, 'Spread Trading' and 'Spread Betting' are the same thing, and we use the
terms interchangeably. The only reason Spread Trading is officially called
'Spread Betting' is in order to maintain its tax-free status.
Q.
What are the performance figures based on?
A.
Our
figures are based on trading the FTSE with the
Binary System,
staking just £1
per point on all trades.
With the Classic System we trade £5 per point to achieve similar performance
as with the Binary System.
Our profits are achieved by trading all day; if you were only able to trade for part
of the day you would need to expect proportionately lower profits.
You can get started
with a bank (capital) as little as £500.
Q.
Can I use my current Spread Betting provider to
trade?
A.
Yes you can. We trade with
IG Index ourselves,
and you will need to have an account with them to use our system, but you
can use another provider to place your trades if you prefer. If you don't already have an account with IG
you might like to
apply
for one before you purchase our system.
Q.
Can you guarantee future performance?
A.
This is a surprisingly common question, and
the answer is no, we certainly cannot. There are never any genuine guarantees of
future performance in the financial world, and the situation is no different
with our products.
We developed
the system in 2006, since when
it
has performed
very reliably, but as with all financial products, past performance is not a
guarantee of the future, and we can make no assurances of future performance.
